the enchanted tree...A season of giving

During this Christmas season we are celebrating the ultimate act of generosity! God sent his only son to bring love and hope to mankind. Our response is to show that same love to others. The Enchanted Tree will be in the Gathering Area (just outside the Sanctuary) through Christmas Eve. This scrawny tree represents those less fortunate. Through your generosity, we have an opportunity to change lives worldwide.

FEEDING 5000 MEAL MINISTRY
Feeding 5000 is a vibrant First Frisco ministry that provides a hot meal to approximately 75 people in Frisco weekly. Volunteers cook and package meals in our kitchen and deliver them to the downtown Frisco area.

PARTNERSHIP - BULGARIA
The Bulgarian Provisional Annual Conference lost 70% of its funding when it disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church. The Mid-Texas Provisional Annual Conference has created an International Partnership with the Bulgarian Provisional Annual Conference to help support them. Each covenant area will be assigned a church and pastor in Bulgaria to build partnership relationships. We will be collecting donations to support this new international partnership. ZOE EMPOWERS
Zoe provides an amazing opportunity for orphaned youth to become self-sufficient. Through a three-year, locally-led program, orphaned youth are organized into groups of 60-100 children and receive micro-grants, life skills, and vocational training to become secure, healthy, and connected community members. First Frisco has proudly sponsored a Zoe group for many years. Learn more about Zoe HERE and Kenya Program Update, Dec. 2023.

KAIROS PRISON MINISTRY
A team of volunteers presents an introductory 3-day weekend, described as a short course in Christianity to approximately 42 inmates. This transformative weekend creates Christian communities inside prisons that can transform lives, decrease prison violence, and reduce recidivism. Learn more HERE

Donations can be put in the envelopes from the tree or you can make donations online HERE. Please designate the charity.
