Christmas is almost here. Join us as we unwrap the story of Christmas. In so many ways it is the Opening Day of Christianity, and it is going to be one incredible celebration at First Frisco! We'll enjoy engaging worship, a life changing message, Christmas songs we all know and love, and Silent Night by candlelight. We have opportunities for you to join us online or in person. It's the perfect time to invite someone to attend or watch church with you!

The nursery is available for children ages 3 and under for all in-person services, no reservations required. Children age 4 and older are welcome to attend worship with their families.

Weekly advent devotionals

Advent is the Christian season marked by a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the Messiah. Each week we will post daily advent devotionals for you and your family.

Week 1 will be posted on Saturday, Nov. 26th.

A season of giving

During this Christmas season we are celebrating the ultimate act of generosity! God sent his only son to bring love and hope to mankind. Our response is to show that same love to others. The Enchanted Tree will be in the Gathering Area (just outside the Sanctuary) through Christmas Eve. This scrawny tree represents those less fortunate. Through your generosity, we have an opportunity to change lives worldwide.

Ladies Christmas candlelight service

Tuesday, Dec. 6th, 7 pm

'Tis the season to celebrate our Lord's birth. Start the Christmas season off with our Ladies' Christmas Candlelight Program on Tuesday, Dec. 6th at 7 pm hosted by the Silver Sombrero Sisters' Circle. Our theme this year is "Come to the Manger" and we'll enjoy beautiful Christmas music and solo performances; along with our guest speaker, Sharon Braner. Sharon is a member and Sunday school teacher at Stonebriar Community Church. Two months out of the year Sharon and her husband live in East Jerusalem, Israel at the Garden Tomb. They lead tour groups that visit the site and explain the importance of Skull Hill, the place of the Crucifixion of Jesus, and the nearby empty tomb that many believe to be the tomb of Jesus Christ.

After the program, we'll enjoy delicious desserts and refreshing beverages by candlelight in the beautifully decorated Gathering Area. Tickets are $5 each. You are welcome to reserve a table. Tickets are available in the Gathering Area on Sundays, in the church office, or online via the link below. Childcare is available by request to Shannon Vowell, savowell@att.net.

christmas cantata

We are so excited to present our Christmas Cantata on Dec. 11th at both services. We will have a chamber or orchestra that will accompany the choir.  We'll hear some familiar Christmas tunes that celebrate the birth of Jesus along with a special selection. We'll also enjoy a special performance from the Kids' Choir.

Night in bethlehem

Sunday, December 18th, 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Take a walk through old Bethlehem. Enjoy our live nativity, petting zoo, hands-on shops including pottery, bakery, and painting. This is a spectacular ‘you-are-there’ Bible adventure. It’s a Christmas experience where you do more than just hear about the birth of Jesus - you see, touch, feel, and smell what life was like during this miraculous time. It gives you a chance to slow down during this hectic season and be reminded why we celebrate!
