the enchanted tree

The Enchanted Tree will be in the Gathering Area (just outside the Sanctuary) through Christmas Eve. This scrawny tree represents those less fortunate. We have an opportunity to change lives worldwide.

The tree holds envelopes marked with 5 charities: Grace Children’s Hospital, Lydia Patterson Institute, Methodist Children’s Home, H.O.P.E. Team, and ZOE. See below to learn more about each charity. To contribute, take an envelope, insert cash or check and place it in the offering plate or basket, turn it into the church office, or put it in the drop slot in Welcome Center.

To give online, use the link below and select "Other" under Fund and designate charity in the note.

zoe empowers

380 million children are trapped in the cycle of poverty. Empowering all areas of life is the only way out. Orphaned and vulnerable children living in extreme poverty are abused, sick and isolated from their community. Handouts and begging helps them to survive temporarily. Our solution addresses all their challenges, across eight areas of life, equipping them to overcome poverty with their own efforts—and for good.

Empowerment–not handouts–has equipped more than 100,000 orphaned children to overcome poverty.
